Outdoor SmartUPS Management System
Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) and operators typically rely on electrical infrastructures to power their network equipment. During times of power outages, or in rural and remote locations where the reach of power is limited, operators need a reliable backup power source.
The Baicells Smart Uninterruptible Power Supply (SmartUPS) is a comprehensive platform which converts AC to DC 48V, supports GigE speeds, and uses PoE+ power supply. It can power Baicells Long-Term Evolution (LTE) eNodeBs (eNBs) and other equipment such as cameras, meteorological monitoring, microwave, and security systems.
The unit is small and easy to deploy, and has a high protection grade rating of IP66. The SmartUPS is very cost-effective, especially when compared to traditional indoor and outdoor power cabinets.
