10Gb Multi Mode SFP+ Module
The SFP+ 10 Gb-SR transceiver module is a hot-pluggable optical interface designed for high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over multimode fiber (MMF). Operating at a nominal wavelength of 850 nanometers, this short-reach (SR) module provides reliable, high-bandwidth data transmission for data centers, enterprise networks, and aggregation links.
Built to meet the IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR standard, the transceiver supports link distances of up to 300 meters when used with OM3-rated fiber optic cable, or up to 400–550 meters on OM4/OM5 multimode fiber. The optical interface employs a VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver, ensuring low power consumption and high optical performance.
Designed for commercial operating environments, the module functions within a temperature range of 0 °C to 70 °C, making it ideal for standard rackmount switches, routers, and optical network interface cards that support SFP+ form factor transceivers.
