The Cyclone 1000BASE-T SFP transceiver module is a hot-pluggable copper transceiver designed for Gigabit Ethernet applications over standard Cat5e/6 twisted-pair copper cabling. This compact SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) module enables network equipment such as switches, routers, and media converters to deliver 1Gbps full-duplex performance without the need for fiber infrastructure.

Unlike standard optical modules, the Cyclone Copper SFP provides an RJ-45 interface that supports link lengths of up to 100meters, delivering reliable data transmission for short-reach or intra-rack connections.
