AFL Splice Closures


Our Splice Closures are built to deliver elite performance. The Apex small closures with high density maximize available space, and their wedge-based sealing system with cable strain relief allows a cable to be installed and sealed in seconds. Utilized in aerial applications, AFL’s LightGuard weathertight and sealed fiber optic splice closures are created for taut sheath (no slack) or small to high-count fiber splicing (384+ single or 1152+ mass) and for small to high-count fiber splicing (864+ single or 2592+ mass), respectively, in a butt or in-line configuration. Its LightGuard splice trays offer many flexible splice and storage possibilities, in-line or butt splice capability, and interlocking base and cover for stability. What’s more, our LightGuard accessories include grommets, storage units, brackets, cable ground harnesses, cable router, grommet, fanout, and expansion kits, spiral wraps, and tools.
