LUMINA

Intended for Gigabit Ethernet backbone applications

CFIP Lumina systems are delivering up to 366 Mbps per radio. 2+0 aggregation is available for higher bandwidth users. Both single or dual, electrical and fibre optical interface versions are available, as well as hybrid version with 1 optical and 1 electrical port.

High capacity throughput

Market-proven technology supporting 256 QAM modulation and 56 MHz channel bandwidth ensures a high throughput capacity of up to 366 Mbps per radio.

Enhanced Ethernet functionality

Built-in managed Gigabit Ethernet switch supports QoS, up to 4093 concurrent VLANs, 9728 bytes jumbo frames and other essential features, which allow to setup and maintain highly customized end-user connectivity services.

Flexible network configuration

With two Gigabit Ethernet ports it is possible to use Lumina in various network topologies (for instance, ring, repeater chain) and configurations (aggregation, link protection, port-separated management).

Excellent lightning protection

Optical Ethernet ports provide long distance fibre-to-antenna connection, thus completely securing your network equipment against eventual damage caused by lightning strikes.

Cost-effective all-outdoor solution

Modem with ACM and ATPC support, Ethernet switch with fibre-optical ports and high performance radio – all built into very compact single enclosure. Good link performance with smaller antennas, shelter/cabinet-free site installation result in lower total cost of ownership comparing to alternative legacy setups.
