Position Overview

The Customer Solutions Associate supports the WAV sales team and customers by ensuring that quotes, sales orders, and requests are completed in a timely, accurate manner. The Customer Solutions Associate will use the WAV CRM system to create quotes, process orders, and manage activity. Your efforts directly support WAV's growth.

Essential Job Functions

  • Promptly respond to customers with courtesy and respect
  • Create quotes and process sales orders
  • Obtain and maintain a proficient understanding of internal systems and processes to increase. level of customer service to clients
  • Become and maintain a proficient understanding of technical knowledge of all product lines offered by WAV, attend in-house and supplier trainings
  • Become proficient in the pricing models of all product lines offered by WAV
  • Attend in-house and supplier training
  • Act as support to our internal customers
  • Adhere to and promote WAV fundamentals
  • Support WAV house accounts

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience, plus one year of previous customer service or retail experience required.

Language Ability

Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Excellent written and verbal skills.

Math Ability

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to adapt to challenging situations as well as have the ability to balance, execute and prioritize both routine and analytical tasks. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Willingness, capability, and determination to solve problems and participate in team problem-solving and negotiations.

Computer Skills

Strong knowledge of MS Office products and experience using a CRM. NetSuite experience preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Travel is roughly 30% of the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and primarily indoor and climate controlled.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to physically participate in sales presentations, tradeshows, and other meetings.
