Passive Gigabit PoE injector with surge protection, indoor enclosure

An upgrade of the classic MikroTik surge protector, now - sealed inside an improved IP67 weatherproof enclosure.

MikroTik Gigabit Ethernet Surge Protector (GESP + POE-IN) is a passive PoE injector, netprotector equipped with a gigabit Ethernet port. The Gigabit Ethernet Surge Protector can be used to protect the network from damage caused by lightning or surges.

GESP devices can usually absorb many shocks, but be sure to check their condition after each overvoltage. We recommend PVC clamps for fixing the GESP units.

Application: A mast with antennas, as well as several switches on the ground. Put GESP surge protectors at each end. They are enclosed in a new and improved IP67 weatherproof housing. Your antennas are now safe during a lightning storm. Now add the GESP + POE-IN injector under the mast - to protect the switches and power the antennas. Don't forget the ground wire! Attach it to a rack, mast, or any other structure connected to the ground. For maximum protection, use a surge protector at both ends of long cables.
