Gigabit Inline PoE Extender
Power IP cameras, desktop phones, WiFi access points, or other low voltage devices through an exterior network data cable at up to 500 ft at blinding Gigabit data speeds using this 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) Extender. The PoE Extender takes PoE power (48-56 volts) from any IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at injector or switch and extends the power and data on Ethernet data cable (Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6) to your device.
Save big on network upgrades and device installations Designed for outdoor use, the Power over Ethernet can deliver up to 22 watts 500 feet from the PoE Injector or switch, eliminating the expense and hassle of installing AC power near your powered device. With this PoE Extender, you can extend power on your data cable for a fraction of the cost of adding a PoE Midspan.
Active PoE means the right power at the right time An active PoE Extender negotiates with the powered device to deliver the voltage needed, so there are no concerns about accidentally burning out lower powered or non-PoE devices. Power is only added to the data cable when an 802.3af or 802.3at device is connected.
