The RemotePro® 170W Series outdoor power systems from Tycon Power® are meticulously designed for applications requiring a primary off-grid power source to run various equipment. These robust systems feature vented, weatherproof enclosures that offer generous space inside for mounting customer equipment. Multiple mounting brackets, welded inside the enclosure, accommodate DIN rails or flat plates, ensuring versatile options for equipment installation.
Versatile Solar Charge Controllers
MPPT and PWM Options: The systems offer MPPT or PWM temperature-compensated solar charge controllers. Some PWM systems provide 24V or 48V 10/100 Passive PoE outputs, catering to a range of equipment requirements. The solar controllers automatically turn off the load if the battery voltage drops too low, preserving battery life. Once the battery voltage recovers, the load turns on automatically, ensuring continuous operation.
Durable and Secure Enclosures
Powder-Coated Steel or Aluminum Construction: Tycon Power® constructs the outdoor enclosures from durable powder-coated steel or aluminum. The enclosures are hinged and gasket-sealed with a locking closure that accepts a common padlock for enhanced security. This robust construction ensures the enclosures withstand harsh environmental conditions while keeping internal components secure.
Cable Gland Ports for Flexible Wiring: The enclosures feature four cable gland ports for CAT5/6 cables, antenna cables/connectors, or other cabling. This design provides flexibility for various wiring needs, ensuring a clean and organized installation.
Efficient Thermal Management
Thermostatically Controlled Fan Assembly: Included in the system is a thermostatically controlled fan assembly that automatically turns on when the temperature exceeds 45°C. This feature ensures optimal operating temperatures, protecting the internal components and enhancing the system’s longevity.
High-Quality Solar Panels
25-Year Power Output Guarantee: The high-quality solar panels come with a 25-year power output guarantee and a +5W output tolerance. Tycon Power® ensures the enclosures and solar mounts can be easily mounted to a wall or pole (2-4”) using the included mounting system, ensuring optimal sunlight exposure and maximizing efficiency.
Reliable Battery Performance
Advanced Glass Mat (AGM) Batteries: The systems use Non-Spillable Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid Advanced Glass Mat (AGM) batteries, which offer excellent temperature and deep discharge performance. The expected battery life exceeds five years, providing a dependable power source for various applications.
Comprehensive Cabling Included
Complete Cabling Solution: The systems come with all the necessary cabling to connect the batteries to the controller. Additionally, a 20’ outdoor-rated cable connects the solar panels to the controller. This comprehensive cabling solution ensures a hassle-free installation process.
