GbE PoE Surge Suppressor High Voltage

Outdoor GigE Ethernet surge suppressor – protector with midspan POE insert/extract. Configuration via jumper plugs allow any combination of polarity and pair use with up to 500mA per pair. If all 8 wires are configured as the same polarity, 2 amps can be conveyed. This device will power 802.3af/at devices or extract power from a POE powered circuit. This device is also designed to protect GigE over copper equipment in an outdoor environment. Shielded RJ45 jacks provide grounds to shielded plugs.
