Rohn Guy Strain Insulator, Porcelain, 12,000 LBS US
Rohn 504 Guy Strain Insulator, Porcelain, 12,000 LBS US
Guy Line Insulators are used to divide guy wires into non-resonant sections. This prevents the guy lines from altering the antenna's radiation pattern due to near-field interaction. A compression-type design is used and the insulator is compressed within the wire loops, so that if the insulator should break, the guy wires are still attached. Breaking strength for these insulators is 12,000 pounds.
