Power over Ethernet, Flexible Network Deployment
Compliant with the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards, the switch supports a total PoE power budget of 65 W with 30 W max per PoE+ port. When total power consumption exceeds 65 W, the intelligent power management will cut the lower priority ports power to protect devices from damage.
Instantaneous Multi-mode Toggles
Extend Mode: Up to 250m Transmissions With extend mode, the PoE transmission distance reaches up to 250 m** —perfect for IP Camera deployment in large areas.
PoE Auto Recovery: Recovery mode helps automatically detect and reboot PD devices, such as cameras and APs, when they fall offline or go unresponsive—all without needing manual monitoring and restarts.
PoE budget calculations are based on laboratory testing. Actual PoE power budget is not guaranteed and will vary as a result of client limitations and environmental factors.
The speed of the ports which are under extend mode will be downgraded to 10Mbps. Actual transmission distance may vary from the quality of the cables.
Omada Unmanaged Switches do not support Omada SDN central management.
