Tycon Power TP-VRHP-1256-250
10-15VDC Input, 56V 4.46A 250W Regulated Output DCDC Isolated Voltage Converter, Wire Terminal Input and Output (12AWG Max)
The TP-VRHP-1256-250 DC to DC converters offer high output voltage conversion in a compact metal enclosure. They have wire terminal inputs and outputs for maximum flexibility. The units come with DIN rail adapters for DIN rail mounting. These provide power output up to 250W. It also has a battery saver feature. If voltage falls below 10V the DC to DC converter will turn off to save battery. As soon as the voltage returns to normal the DC to DC converter will power on. Switched DC to DC converters offer a method to increase voltage from a partially lowered battery voltage thereby saving space instead of using multiple batteries to accomplish the same thing.
High Output Voltage Conversion
These converters are designed to efficiently convert DC voltage from one level to another, ensuring that your devices receive the appropriate voltage they need to operate optimally. This is particularly useful in applications where the input voltage may vary, but a stable output voltage is required.
Power Output up to 250W
With a power output capacity of up to 250 watts, these converters can handle a wide range of devices and applications, providing reliable power conversion for both low and high-power requirements.
Battery Saver
The battery saver feature automatically turns off the converter if the input voltage falls below 10V. This helps in preventing deep discharge of the battery, thereby extending its lifespan. Once the voltage returns to a normal level, the converter automatically powers back on, ensuring continuous operation without manual intervention.
Switched DC to DC Conversion
These converters utilize switched-mode technology to efficiently increase the voltage from a partially depleted battery. This method is more space-efficient compared to using multiple batteries to achieve the same voltage level. It also reduces the overall weight and complexity of the power system.
