The RemotePro® 170W Series outdoor power systems from Tycon Power® are meticulously designed for applications that require a primary off-grid power source to run various equipment. These robust systems feature vented, weatherproof enclosures offering generous space inside for mounting customer equipment. With multiple mounting brackets welded inside, you can mount DIN rails or flat plates, ensuring versatile installation options.

Advanced Solar Charge Controllers

MPPT and PWM Options: The systems offer both MPPT and PWM temperature-compensated solar charge controllers. Some PWM systems provide 24V or 48V 10/100 Passive PoE outputs, catering to a range of equipment requirements. The solar controllers turn off the load automatically if the battery voltage drops too low, preserving battery life. Once the battery voltage recovers, the load turns on automatically, ensuring continuous operation.

Durable and Secure Enclosures

Powder-Coated Steel or Aluminum Construction: These outdoor enclosures, made from durable powder-coated steel or aluminum, ensure long-lasting performance. The enclosures are hinged and gasket-sealed with a locking closure that accepts a common padlock, offering enhanced security. They withstand harsh environmental conditions while keeping internal components safe.

Cable Gland Ports for Flexible Wiring: The enclosures feature four cable gland ports for CAT5/6 cables, antenna cables/connectors, or other cabling. This design ensures a clean and organized installation, providing flexibility for various wiring needs.

Thermostatically Controlled Fan Assembly: The included thermostatically controlled fan assembly turns on automatically when the temperature exceeds 45°C, ensuring optimal operating temperatures. This feature protects the internal components while enhancing the system’s longevity.

25-Year Power Output Guarantee: The high-quality solar panels come with a 25-year power output guarantee and a +5W output tolerance. You can mount the enclosures and solar mounts to a wall or pole (2-4”) using the included mounting system. This setup ensures optimal sunlight exposure, maximizing the efficiency of the solar panels.

Advanced Glass Mat (AGM) Batteries: The systems use Non-Spillable Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid Advanced Glass Mat (AGM) batteries, which offer excellent temperature and deep discharge performance. With an expected battery life exceeding five years, these batteries provide a dependable power source for various applications.

Comprehensive Cabling Included

Complete Cabling Solution: The systems include all the necessary cabling to connect the batteries to the controller. Additionally, a 20’ outdoor-rated cable connects the solar panels to the controller, ensuring a hassle-free installation process.
